ABOUT

Jil Seidel is the founder and creative director of Jil Zander Studio, where she leads a multidisciplinary team to create custom experiences and ephemeral installations for brands, hospitality, and individuals. Her work spans exhibitions, performances, brand campaigns and dinners, creative weddings, and set designs in atypical settings — always with a strong emphasis on storytelling and atmosphere.

Her career began at a young age in event management at A VArietÉ TheatRE in Germany, later expanding into multidisciplinary design. Jil graduated as an Object and Space Designer and further explored graphic, fashion, and food design in Barcelona. This cross-disciplinary foundation shapes her distinctive practice today, merging spatial design, food concepts, and visual storytelling into unified, immersive experiences.

She regularly collaborates with a hand-selected network of artists, chefs, designers, producers, and craftspeople. A close creative partner is Elisabeth Herzog, with whom Jil shares a deep visual and conceptual synergy — together bringing extraordinary settings to life.

Over the years, Jil has worked with an international roster of clients including The Hoxton Hotel, Casablanca, Nike, Hay Design, Armani Beauty, New Balance, Asics, Liebeskind Berlin, Octaevo, Vasto Gallery, and Renegat Berlin, among many others.

Alongside her practice, Jil has shared her knowledge through creative workshops and lectures, including food design workshops at IED Barcelona and Politecnico di Milano, connecting education with real-world creative practice.

Her studio is known for a thoughtful and intuitive approach, blending disciplines to craft immersive, emotionally resonant, and visually iconic experiences that leave a lasting impression.
